I am continually searching for ways to expand my sound design skills and often end up in unfamiliar territory. Previously, I wanted to practice implementing sounds into a video game, so I went through the trouble of designing a level from scratch, even to the point of creating custom 3D models and assets. I take portfolio feedback to heart, and recently decided to pursue a project that would really add some energy to my content. Something that demonstrated as much of my capabilities and resourcefulness as a sound designer in a short, dynamic sequence.
My entire sound design methodology including research, recording sessions, library curation, and the actual sound design process itself are documented within an article on Medium.
